Updates from the last quarter:
The pool opened May 25th for the season! Hours are 10am-9pm every day. If you are fishing at the pond, please do stay off the rocks and remember to take your trash with you. Are you interested in renting out the clubhouse for a wedding, graduation, or other gathering? You can! Club house rentals must go through the website for booking and details (https://littlespringfarmhoa.com/clubhouse-rentals/). Please note, you need to be registered on our website to access this link. The dumpster at the Club house is unavailable due to Rumpke changing their dump date and the upcoming pool season. Residents will need to use their own trash and waste removal services. A friendly reminder per Little Spring Farms covenants: It is our responsibility to maintain our lawns and landscaping along the front of our homes. All houses built in our neighborhood had bushes, plants, trees, and ect. in front of our houses. Each house had fully sodded front yards. We will soon start walking the neighborhood to ensure that all homes have landscaping in front of our homes and that yards are being maintained. Also, mailboxes are to remain the same type that the developer put in and they must have white letters/numbers. The name and number inside the mailbox was Duggins’s 502-966-5774 if anyone needs replacement or numbers. We want to keep our neighborhood a beautiful place and our home values up.
Updates in the quarter to come:
Pool Committee:
While summer is in full swing and residents are enjoying the use of the pool, we want to remind everyone of the pool rules that are posted on our website (https://littlespringfarmhoa.com/pool/ (https://littlespringfarmhoa.com/pool/)) and on the signs at the pool. Remember that all children are to exit the main pool completely (unless actively practicing swimming with an adult) during break time. Also, during break time, the baby pool is reserved for children age 5 and under. Some other specific reminders from the rules are, no large floats allowed, family friendly language and music only, and no rough horseplay allowed.
The showers for the pool/workout room are closed until further notice.
Pool Party!!
July 20th, 7-11pm.
Night swim with LIVE MUSIC from the Blaise Streets Duo. All neighbors invited.
Landscaping:
The waterfall is undergoing some repairs after a leak was found in the middle basin. We expect this work to be completed in the next few weeks.
Dumpster:
The dumpster is only available for clubhouse rentals and pool garbage.
Neighborhood yard sale:
September 28th
Violations reminder:
Commercial vehicles is defined as (including but not limited to anyvehicle that has signage for any company, and/or tagged as a commercial vehicle, and/or rated over 1 ton).
Habitual street parking is still one of the leading complaints.
LSF Management change:
After extensive research and multiple interviews, we have decided to switch to a new management company. Mulloy will be replaced by Kentuckiana Property Management (KPM) on August 1st. Not to be confused with Kentuckiana Pool Management (KPM) who manages our pool.
They will be sending out information for this change and how it affects our neighborhood.
HOA Dues:
Friendly reminder that dues will be due by January 1, 2025. This reminder is so you have plenty of time to plan before the holidays. We will follow back up when the new management company takes over with info on how to make the payment.
Volunteers needed:
Now’s the time to start considering volunteering for your neighborhood HOA board. It takes many people to help make this place operate and your neighborhood is only as good as the neighbors. (No one has ever been turned down that wanted to help).
Enjoy the pool party, yard sale, and the rest of summer.
